I AM PISSED OFF →
fishingboatproceeds:
I am pissed off because Laci Green, one of the most promising young content creators on YouTube, has been forced off the Internet by death threats—apparently driven by her casual use of the word “tranny” in a video she made more than three years ago. (She apologized…

Anonymous asked: where do you get reduced chocolate bark? what is it?
Anonymous asked: This is the first time I've had to do this. You posted a photo that I took on the Appalachian trail without crediting me. I'm not asking for remuneration just credit. Thanks Jeff. I'm over on flickr JeffMorg
Anonymous asked: When you discuss binge eating, what do you consider a "binge?"

Emergency Action Plan
Alright be ready for this; it’s a long post about how to deal with those days when you are having a meltdown and want to binge or self harm or whatever you turn to for comfort. I think it’s really important to have a plan for the times when you feel at your lowest so you know how to deal and you don’t have to think about it. So here’s my written out plan that works for...

Hike
Hiked Old Rag mountain (in central VA) yesterday. It involves some serious uphill hiking followed by rock scrambles (meaning you have to use your hands and feet to get up). I am SO SORE this morning and I forgot what a great feeling that is! So I decided to go on a run to keep things going. Good day! Too bad I can barely get up the stairs without crying.
Anonymous asked: In your skinny puppy chowder....when do you add the Tricia??? And also where do you get the reduced fat chocolate almond bark?? Thanks!
Fear
Don’t ever let the fear of trying something stop you from doing it! I was really afraid of going to a real yoga class even though I’ve been doing it in my house for a long time. But I went and it was great! Ask questions ALWAYS. Think of the last time someone asked you for advice or help. Did you laugh at them? Think they were stupid/dumb/silly? Probably (hopefully) not; so remember...
Run
Finally got out for a run this morning. I meant to go about 5 miles but ended up running about 3.5 and walking 1.5. I tend to get really frustrated with myself when I don’t live up to my self imposed standards but I’m trying to take the attitude of “persistence over perfection”.

Personal
Going to start posting more about my real life. I had a setback in terms of my health and fitness recently. I had been really on in terms of my health and fitness. Working out a lot and taking care of my nutrition. Then I hit what has been almost a 2 month down slide.
I moved back home and have been really slacking on both my exercise and my eating. But I’m getting back on track. I set my...

Anyone up for a challenge?
fatgirlmemories:
Month of June, we walk, run, jog…CRAWL if we have to - 100 miles. More, if the inspiration strikes you. That’s about a 5k every. single. day.
I’m not in great shape, but I am extremely competitive. Who is up for a little bit of a challenge? Let’s do this! I’ll update my miles every day. You guys have the job of holding me accountable if I skip a day. I’m buying a pedometer for...

This is what a binge looks like:
Not pictured: the chicken breast, 4 soft pretzels, 2 scoops of ice cream and pasta I also had.
No, it’s not pretty.
No, I don’t feel good about my decisions.
I’ll save you the effort and tell you there are over 2000 calories in that picture. All of which I consumed before 10:00am.
But, in the wise words of healthiie:
“Forgive yourself. You had a bad night but...
Not so Good
Today has been one of those days where everything is a struggle. I’m not doing so hot today. I don’t know how to deal. I have no one to turn to…for now I’ll just curl into a little ball until things go away.

Tuna
Does anyone know where you can get fresh, sashimi quality tuna in Northern Virginia? I love yellow fin but would really be up for anything. I just looked online and it was like “$50 per pound” and I was like ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?!? Where I live now it is $1 per pound (granted that’s the whole fish) but STILL come on man. I’m not rich.

50 Day Binge Free Challenge
Day 41: Favorite actress or singer and why? Do you look up to this person?
Um I actually never watch TV or movies. Favorite singer would probably be the duo Thao and Mirah. Do I look up to them? I think they are talented and good people but I don’t idolize them in any way.
