I’d like to be one of those people that just has “ultimate goals” like running a marathon or doing a handstand and screw what the scale says. But I’m not there yet. My UGW is to be 105 lbs. I expect (hope?) to be there by the end of June

Day 12: What do you normally eat?
Well I’m living in a 3rd world country right now and it’s hard ot find a lot of the foods I would normally eat. Almost everything that gets imported is prepackaged and full of sugar. So I eat a lot of rice, beans, fruits, and oatmeal. It’s hard to find veggies here. Today I had: tangerines, oatmeal, bananas, rice and beans, and eggs.

This is a tough one. I’m kinda new to tumblr and only follow a few people. I like people that post often and post positive, encouraging, and informative things. So I guess I’d say thefameofhealthandfitness is my current favorite.

Day 10: What is the hardest thing you gave up during this weight loss?
Hmm this one is hard. I generally cave and end up eating whatever it is I’m craving so there isn’t really anything that I gave up per say. I did manage to cut out soda pretty much completely but that was done over a longer period of time. I’m working on cutting out processed foods with tons of added sugars...

Day 9: Did people ever make comments about your weight in a negative way?
Not really. I have great friends and family who love me at any size. I’m my own worst critic. And a boy called me fat once…a girl never forgets these things.

Day 8: Your workout routine
Up at 5:00am to go on a two mile walk. After that depending on how my legs feel, I’ll either go running, do an insanity video, or maybe yoga.
I bike 2.5 miles to work and another 2.5 home everyday.
Generally do strength training, swimming, or a long bike ride in the afternoon. Whatever I’m feeling really.

Day 7: Do your parents know you’re trying to lose weight? Do they care?
Nope they don’t know and they would definitely care. They are all about the “You look great as it is sweetie” and they would assume I’d developed some sort of eating disorder. It’s wonderful to have concerned parents, just sometimes it’s too much.

Day 6: Do you binge? If so, explain why you think you do.
Yep…I’m a binge eater. It happens when I get emotional mainly but also sometimes I just feel like I need to fill my stomach. And I can’t stop eating until I’m superrrr full. And of course sometimes it’s actually just too delicious to resist, but I find that too be the more rare occasion.

I’m definitely doing ti for me. But I will say I’m doing it more for the sake of vanity than anything else.

My biggest fear is that I won’t ever get to my goal weight. I’ve struggled with body image, eating, and size for about 5 years now. In 5 years, I’ve never managed to do it. This time WILL be different.

This photo is amazing. It encompasses everything I’m striving to be. Ripped, healthy, happy, having fun, and all the while looking like she could kick your ass in a fight. Added bonus: I love body mods.

Day 2: How tall are you? Do you like your height?
I’m 5’ 3.5” tall. Always wished I was taller growing up. I was big into athletics in high school and a few extra inches would have been nice as a pole vaulter :)
Other than that, I know I can’t change it so I don’t really like or dislike either way.

Bathing Suit
Do people still call them bathing suits? Swim suits? I need a cute black bikini top (maybe one with ruffles or something) for summer. It’s going to hang on my wall for inspiration. Anyone have any suggestions for a cute, unique, black top?
P.S. I only have like 5 followers sooo I’m hoping one of you guys has an answer for me…

Eating fat doesn’t actually make us fat. It’s the insulin cycle, triggered by eating carbohydrates.
