50 Day Binge Free Challenge
Day 39: A picture of your favorite book. I just read this book this past year and fell in love with it. Other contenders for the picture included: The BFG, Hatchet, The Toss of a Lemon, Don’t Look Behind You, and The Unbearable Lightness of Being

Day 38: What calms you down when you’re stressed out? This is a tough one because it’s something I’m still struggling to figure out. Right now, my go to methods include: going for a walk (when I lived in the US I loved t walk around to mall or go for a drive), going for a run, flipping through magazines and cutting out pictures, and hanging out with friends.

Day 37: Do you think it’s possible to be 100% happy with your body? Why or why not? I think it’s possible for people to be 100% happy with their bodies I just know that it’s a long way away for me. Being happy with your body comes when you stop focusing on how your body looks and instead focus on what your body does. Ex: I love my legs because they carried me on a 4 mile run this...

Last Day of Challenge
Since it’s Sunday and I had a lot of free time, I did an hour long podcast of yoga. I really forget how tough that is for me! Thanks Riia for an awesome challenge; I’ve enjoyed it!

Day 36: A picture of a time in your life that you didn’t feel good about your body. List two things that you like about this picture now. Two things I like about this picture now Even though I’m not perfectly happy with my body, I’m still enjoying myself at the beach and not letting it ruin my time. I’ve got some mighty fine legs if I do say so myself.

Nobody is fit →
gurusports: If you really look at ‘how fitness is starting to be defined in internet and media circles then you can kind of be disappointed that you’ll never be fit. The apparent ‘Fittest in the World’ crossfitters couldn’t run a marathon, could they? But then again an Ironman couldn’t perform 50 pullups in a row. Fitness is about being healthy and able to complete daily tasks without hassle,...

Saturday and the End of the School Year
I’m a high school biology and chemistry teacher and yesterday was the last day! (tangent: I find it really weird sometimes that I follow a lot of people still in high school who are very accomplished and I always think how I’m old enough to be their teacher and yet I ask them for advice! I’m only 22 though…) Anyway, I went out last night and celebrated in a responsible...

Day 35: When did your binging start? Why do you think it started? I remember in high school waiting for my parents to go to sleep so that I could sneak back into the kitchen and eat more ice cream, cookies, chicken, leftovers, etc. But it didn’t start getting really bad/uncontrollable until this year. I think it started because I was obsessed with trying to lose weight and it kind of...

Day 34: A picture of some item of clothing you want to buy for yourself. This: And also this: I always hear Stacy and Clinton from “What Not to Wear” talking in my ear saying “dress the body you have not the body you want”. Meaning: don’t wait for your dream body or weight loss perfection before you treat yourself to something. You deserve to look and feel your...
